Within my animation I explore the ideology of love and how a life can stem from such a thing. I also wanted to include a fairytale styled element within the narrative as it is something accessible for all to understand and believe and it also creates child like imagery for the audience and brings a childish side in the audience as they connect with the story line and the hand drawn 'child like' animation.
The frog prince:
The Frog Prince, is a fairy tale, best known through the Brothers Grimm's written version; traditionally it is the first story in their collection. In the tale, a spoiled princess reluctantly befriends a frog (possibly meeting him after dropping a gold ball into his pond), who magically transforms into a handsome prince. Although in modern versions the transformation is invariably triggered by the princess kissing the frog.

The idea of a 'princess' kissing a frog who then turns into a prince interests me as I believe the storyline would work well within the narrative when linking the idea of evolution from a frog to a human being whilst also intertwining the idea of love.
I have chosen to use this fairytale as inspiration and I will adopt the idea of a kiss from the female protagonist turns the frog into a man to my narrative to add a fairytale child like twist to my animation.
