Within this section I have chosen to overview the course and the progress I have made.
At the beginning of the course I was not confident that I would be able to make a three minute animation. The task appeared to be too big as I had to be taught how to use the programming within a couple of weeks. Within the first few weeks of experimenting I began to gain confidence with my animating and after using the programmes regularly my confidence grew as I began to experiment to create my own style.
When researching for my project, I had a clear idea of the direction I wanted to take in order to gain inspiration for my project. I believe the two main inspirations from my research is Julian Opie and Simon's cat, as I believe I have infused the two styles whilst creating a new style of characterization that stays true to my aims of creating something minimalistic fairytale like and simple.
Now the course is coming to an end it is clear to see I have progressed a long way from the start of this process. Something i have definitely gained from this course is determination and tolerance for technology, and I'm extremely proud of the work I have produced as it displays the hard work I have put into my project and also shows my development throughout the weeks. Also throughout the course the Sussex practice tutors have helped with my development and have supported me throughout my project which I fully appreciate!
